Where we are working Ampara in Eastern Sri Lanka was one of the districts most severely hit by the tsunami. Much of the land is low-lying, hence huge numbers of people were affected. We are particularly concentrating on the area around Thirukovil, pictured on the cover of this leaflet, where a number of agencies, both local and International, are working with the community. |
